WGIC’s engagement focuses on mentorship and industry guidance, helping students ground their projects in real-world contexts and understand how geospatial thinking is applied across sectors. Through Xploor, students work on challenges spanning climate resilience, public health, agriculture, and urban mobility, developing technical capability alongside systems thinking and ethical awareness.
Together with the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC), CRDF is collaborating to strengthen geospatial thought leadership, applied research, and workforce development, with a focus on assessing India’s geospatial talent landscape and developing industry-informed pathways for future skills and capacity building.
WGIC has an established partnership with INTERGEO and actively participates in the event as an industry partner. WGIC has a dedicated exhibition booth at the event and participates in and contributes to panel discussions and industry sessions. WGIC also encourages its members to participate as speakers and panelists and to engage with the wider INTERGEO community. Through this relationship, WGIC supports knowledge exchange, networking, and greater visibility for its members and the broader global geospatial industry.
WGIC has an ongoing relationship with GEO Business and participates in the event as an industry partner. WGIC engages with the GEO Business community through its presence at the event, participation in panel discussions and industry sessions, and collaboration with other geospatial stakeholders. GEO Business also recognizes WGIC as a partner, supporting opportunities for joint engagement, knowledge exchange, and greater visibility for the global geospatial industry.
WGIC has an established partnership and active collaboration with GeoWeek. WGIC participates in GeoWeek through a dedicated exhibition booth, hosts and contributes to panel discussions and industry sessions, and engages with members and stakeholders throughout the event. GeoWeek also recognizes WGIC as an industry partner and lists WGIC among its official partners, reflecting the ongoing collaboration between the two organizations.
