What our Members Say

WGIC works to bring together the geospatial industry to improve the level of collaboration with all stakeholders, make clear to governments and policymakers that geospatial technologies can enable progress, and help address some of the most critical problems the world is facing.

With WGIC, we have the vision to create a new institution that brings together participants from around the world in the geospatial industry. This will allow new kinds of partnerships to emerge, enabling companies to help each other, and also allow the geospatial industry to work with global initiatives collectively. I firmly believe that by joining together and exploring collaborative efforts, we can make meaningful progress.

WGIC members corporates, small to medium businesses, including associations representing the leadership team and collectively work together to discuss and voice matters of relevance to the global geospatial community.

I believe it is crucial for us in the geospatial industry to strengthen our collaboration and engagement, be more agile in approaches, and think of new ways for cross-industry collaboration. Here, I re-emphasize the need for a platform like WGIC in our industry to make us much more relevant today and tomorrow.

WGIC is undertaking collaborative partnerships with global institutions to extend the reach of the geospatial industry into sectors of global relevance. Our initiatives allow us to address societal challenges and contribute to the SDGs collectively. WGIC is also that bridge where small and large groups of companies can be better together as we collaborate to innovate.
