In this interview, the World Geospatial Industry Council’s Executive Director, Barbara Ryan, shared the details of WGIC’s participation in this year’s Conference of Parties (COP27). She highlighted the role of WGIC and its members in addressing the climate action at the two key venues, the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) and Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM), and elaborated on the key outcomes from both events.

WGIC Announces Inaugural DEI Trailblazer Awards, Esri India and Clinton Johnson Receive Honors

The World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) announced the winners of the WGIC DEI Trailblazer 2022 Awards during INTERGEO 2022 in Essen, Germany. In this inaugural edition of the awards, Esri India won the WGIC DEI Trailblazer – Corporate Impact Award, and Clinton Johnson, Racial Equity and Social Justice Solutions Lead, Esri, won WGIC DEI Trailblazer – Individual Champion Award.
