‘ARIES for SEEA’ Launch

On Thursday, 29 April 2021, 9-10 AM (NY time), the offcial launch of the ARIES for SEEA Explorer will take place. It’s a new open-source and user-friendly digital technology which enables standardized and customizable ecosystem accounting. The Explorer will be available starting 29 April.

WWC President Loïc Fauchon’s 5 concrete proposals for Improving water governance in Africa

During World Water Day 2021, Loïc Fauchon, President of the World Water Council proposed five priority actions to improve water governance in African cities: decentralize water and waste water management as close as possible to local authorities, have autonomous budgets, create training institutes for senior operating technicians, allocate financial and human resources to the maintenance of facilities, and avoid opposing cities against rural areas.
