The World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) announced the release of a new report ‘Geospatial Information and Privacy: Policy Perspectives and Imperatives for the Geospatial Industry’. The report covers the fundamental provisions of data protection and privacy policy and its implications for the geospatial industry. It also provides legal regulations and processes, along with a snapshot of discussions and developments occurring around the world.
