
Within ITU’s Digital World Awards 2021, there will be a special category for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Deadline for applications: 3 September 2021.
Digital World 2021 is a global Telecom/ tech event for governments, industry and SMEs, taking place in Ha Noi, Viet Nam from 12 to 15 October2021 – with a full programme of exhibition, debates and networking throughout the global ICT community.
Part of the programme is the official recognition of the best innovative solutions from tech SMEs with real social impact in the form of the ITU Digital World 2021 SME Awards. Tech SME or start-up with positive social impact are invited to take part in it. Winners who are using technology innovatively to improve lives benefit from SME Masterclasses, Pitching sessions, Expert mentorship, UN recognition and credibility and International visibility. The Awards are open to any SME or start-up with an innovative ICT-based solution with real social impact in one of these categories: Connectivity, Smart Cities, Smart Living, E-health, Digital Finance or EdTech. Deadline for applications: 3 September 2021.
The ITU Digital World Awards celebrate the innovation and creativity of ICT-based applications and initiatives changing lives for the better around the world – and provide an international platform to highlight best practice, share ideas on using tech for development, network with peers, mentors and industry, mobilize investment and create new business opportunities for ICT solutions for social good.
