WGIC will participate in AI for Good Global Summit, the leading action-oriented United Nations platform promoting AI to advance health, climate, gender, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure, and other global development priorities.
WGIC will participate in the 13th edition of United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). UN-GGIM is a global initiative. An Inter-Governmental Mechanism spearheaded by the United Nations which seeks to guide the making of joint decisions and set directions on the production and use of geospatial information within national and global policy frameworks.
WGIC will participate in the 31st International Cartographic Conference, and the 19th General Assembly will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. The conference theme is “Smart Cartography for Sustainable Development.”
WGIC will participate in the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM). UN-GGIM: Africa builds on the foundation of these important efforts while enriching the development and transparency of individual nations and Africa as a whole.
