One of the earlier dashboards we saw during the COVID-19 crisis was from the Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). We also now find the University of Virginia, University of Oxford and the University of Wisconsin providing GIS-based dashboards. Here is a brief into their work.
1. Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 dashboard
A global view of COVID-19 cases from the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (JHU)
2. University of Virginia (UVA) COVID dashboard
A global view of COVID-19 cases including a time slider to understand outbreak progression over time.
3. The Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT)
Oxford University launches the COVID-19 government response tracker. The new tracker records and compares governmental measures in response to the coronavirus pandemic worldwide.
4. University of Wisconsin – Mapping Mobility Changes in Response to COVID-19
Did people in each county react to social Distancing by reducing daily mobility? Yes, but spatial heterogeneity in each state still exists. The GeoDS Lab at the Department of Geography, University of Wisconsin launches a Web portal for mapping mobility temporal changes.
