April 16, 2021

From Wednesday, 21 April 2021 till Friday, 23 April 2021, GeoIgnite 2021, Canada’s National Geospatial and Location Technology Conference, is going to be online. Along with the OGC, numerous WGIC Members like Hexagon, Maxar and many others, the World Geospatial Industry Council is a proud participant.

The event includes a pre-conference Geospatial Career Fair (on 14 April), followed by the main conference and workshops that bring together government and industry for innovative programming and discussion. For this year, the organizers announced for the conference to be free for everyone in the Canadian geospatial sector. With GeoIgnite going free as well as virtual virtual for 2021, it is expected for the audience to expand exponentially. C-level participation will continue and grow with the addition participants from Canada and abroad.
